When someone dies, there is suddenly so much to do, and the obituary often has to be ready within a day or two. I write it for you from the details and memories you share: who they were, the life they built and the people they leave behind. You receive two versions, a full one and one short enough for the newspaper.

• A short version of about 100 words for the newspaper, where every line counts

HOW IT WORKS
1. Place your order and fill in the personalization field.
2. Right after your order you receive a PDF with a few gentle questions about their life and the service. Send me your answers through Etsy Messages or by email.
3. Within 48 hours after your answers reach me, you receive both versions as a PDF and a Word file.
Is the newspaper deadline very close? Tell me the date and I'll do my very best to have your obituary ready in time.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Etsy shows "instant download" for all digital items. The file you download at checkout contains your questions. Your obituary is written personally for you and arrives after your answers.
• Communication takes place through Etsy Messages or by email, whichever you prefer. Your PDF is always sent back the same way. Etsy Messages cannot carry Word files, so if you would also like the editable Word version, just send me an email address and I will send it there.
• Written in English. A German version is available on request.
• Because each obituary is written personally for you, returns are not possible. One revision round is included.
