Chain comes on a spool, jump rings by the fifty, metal by the gram. This calculator turns what you paid into a cost per piece, adds stones, packaging, your time, overhead and postage, and suggests a retail price after Etsy fees. Then it checks whether your wholesale price still covers your cost.

HOW IT WORKS
- Materials: type your supplies once as you bought them (e.g. a 10 ft spool of chain, 1 m of gold-filled chain, 50 jump rings). Cost per inch, cm or piece is worked out for you.
- Calculator: pick each supply and type how much one piece uses. Optional metal by weight: grams x your price per gram + loss %. Add stones and packaging.
- Type bench minutes and finishing minutes, postage and the shipping you charge (0 for free shipping).
- Read the suggested price, then type your own price to see fees, profit, margin, earned per hour and wholesale profit.

HOW TO OPEN IT IN GOOGLE SHEETS
1. Download the files from You > Purchases and reviews.
2. Upload the .xlsx file to Google Drive and open it.
3. Choose File > Save as Google Sheets.
It also opens directly in Excel 2016 or newer. No macros.
