Here’s a beautiful CP Barley silver spigot bent billiard. Finding this finish is not too common and in their top spigot design makes for a beautiful piece.

I love the Charles Peterson collection pipes (CP) and the Barley may be my favorite of them. This sterling silver Spigot #69 is a beautiful medium Bent Billiard in the Barley finish and a deep red Cumberland styled stem with an f/t bit. The silver is hallmarked and tells me this pipe was cut in 2024.

It shows off some really nice ring-grain and other patterns all around. This natural vergin finish is meant to patina with use and wear over time so it is unwaxed. The pipe is in great condition. There is very minor rim darkening with a bit more on the tiny inside bevel that really looks like the inner chamber. Aside from this, I would feel comfortable calling it mint or superb condition. It’s super clean inside and out. The chamber is smooth and also excellent shape showing me it hasn’t been smoked much at all.

More Info From a Peterson Collector:

Chronologically the CP Collection therefore includes (1) the Barley Spigot(December 2021), (2) the Iora (March 2022), (3) the SH Rua Spigot P-Lip (July 2022) (and Iora) and now (4), the new Deluxe Natural Rusticated System.
For System geeks, this is an important release marking the first time a Deluxe System has been released as a vergin in Natural and rusticated finish.

*If the pipe comes with an original box and / or pouch, I will certainly mention it in the description and usually shown in photos. Otherwise, it is for the pipe only, though I do package every one with a generic sock / pouch.

At a minimum, I do everything possible to make sure the pipe is at its best and packaged well. All pipes are carefully inspected, cleaned, gently buffed, waxed with Carnauba and the stems are hand polished and oiled as needed. For a decade, I’ve put all I have into these pipes, packaging and more. I really enjoy it and my fellow hobbyists.

BY PURCHASING A TOBACCO PIPE OR RELATED ITEMS FROM THIS STORE, YOU ATTEST / AFFIRM YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD.

I do not have the time to reply to messages asking for deals. If I have room to move, I’ll list the pipe as “Or Best Offer.” Prices are firm. Please consider the large seller fees, taxes and equipment investments. If I don’t reply, no offense intended. It’s just time consuming to explain all this in each message. I appreciate your consideration.

All info such as filtered or no, dimensions and info is listed above, most of it at the beginning of the description.

Expect replies during normal business times. I reply as fast as I can, but if it’s the weekend or middle of the night, it may be a bit before I’m able to read and reply or if the weekend, I will reply on Monday.
