This is a KIT that includes all the materials needed to make the Leaf, Bail and Rope for the Psychedelic Scarab necklace.

If you purchased an early version of the tutorial, there is a mistake in the color order for this colorway. You can download a two page correction at your tutorial purchase receipt at no additional cost to you. If you have problems with this, let me know and I will e-mail you the correction .pdf. I update my tutorials constantly, and any version "D" or later is correct as it is.

All the beads needed, plus a spool of silver grey One G thread, a 3mm cord necklace to work the rope around, (pre-finished cord ends and lobster claw clasp included) and the little Swarovski Scarabeus Green Beetle bead are included. Please note, I have a new supplier for the cord necklaces and the lengths vary. You can select a cord with a finished length of about 18", and all cords have extender chains that allow a few more inches of length. You will need your own beading needles, size 11 & 12, some Smoke Fireline D for the bail, an easy bob bobbin, or piece of cardboard to wrap the extra thread around when working the leaf, and possibly an iron. You could add a longer extender chain or a different clasp if you wanted to.

These metallic silver beads, Toho #711 have a nickel plate finish. If you are sensitive to nickel, this is probably not a project for you. My other kit colorways might be a better choice. Most people work with the bead without difficulty, and my supplier, Bobby Bead in Minneapolis, tells me it is their most popular bead.
