Custom and personalized orders

We are happy to customize, if at all possible, any of our products to make your special event a success. Additional costs may be added depending on the degree of difficulty in creating your item. Please note that when you ask for a custom order, you must be available to answer any questions we may have regarding colors, sizes, or any other information we may need from you. In most cases, there will not be any shipping delay for custom orders, but plan on an additional 2-3 days for us to make your item, just to be safe.

Wafer Paper or Frosting Sheets?

Wafer paper is best for desserts where the decoration can easily be removed before eating. While it is completely edible, wafer paper can be a bit papery in the mouth. It is slightly transparent, so should be used on items with a white background. Wafer paper can be propped or stood up on desserts and make amazing drink toppers. Frosting sheets are soft and slightly sweet and are barely noticeable when eaten with the dessert. These are best used where it is difficult to remove the decoration before eating, or the background color is not white. Frosting sheets are ideal for cookies and cakes.

We are happy to do rush orders if time permits and it does not push any of our current orders behind schedule. We may add an additional charge for this service. Please keep in mind that you must allow for shipping time, so asking for an item on Friday that you need on Monday is just not going to be possible. While we can accomplish amazing feats, unfortunately the postal service does not run according to our schedule.

What's the difference between cut and uncut?

It's just like it sounds! Cut or precut orders arrive to you already cut out and ready to use. Uncut orders arrive in a solid, uncut sheet for you to cut out yourself.

How do I send you my photo for a custom order?

You can send your images directly through Etsy's message system or via email to sweetsandstuffnapa@gmail.com. Please note that if you choose to send your images through Etsy, you can attach up to three images per message. In some cases, multiple messages will be required.

What is the shelf life of my edible image?

As long as they are kept sealed in their original bag in a cool, dark, dry place (not the refrigerator) they will last around six months.

Kick your beverages up a notch with these custom, precut edible drink toppers. Printed with edible ink on wafer paper these toppers can be placed on top of any hot or cold beverage. They will stay intact for 20-30 minutes before they begin to sink into the beverage. These toppers do not dissolve but sink to the bottom of the glass.

IMAGE: We will provide any minor color, brightness or contrast adjustment necessary. If major editing is necessary, additional charges may apply. We can print any size and shape that you wish! We can do up to 6 different photos per sheet. Please choose how many different images you would like per page in the drop down menu when you place your order. Please note that I cannot print black & white images and color images on the same sheet.

Edible image quality greatly depends on photo resolution. To get the best quality images, please provide the highest resolution photo possible. Accepted file formats are .jpg, .png, and .pdf. No links please. Images containing nudity, graphic or violent content are not accepted. If your image can be cropped to remove this content, we will do that for you.

CUSTOM TEXT (optional): We can add custom text to your image! The available font styles and colors are listed in the photos.
PLEASE NOTE YOUR DESIRED FONT STYLE AND COLOR IN THE PERSONALIZATION SECTION BELOW.
Keep in mind that photos with a light background should have a richer or darker font color to ensure readability.

When adding text to an image, please keep in mind that the smaller the topper is and/or the busier the image is, the harder it will be to read the text.

The production process will begin once we have your image and/or custom text details. If you do not send your image right away or note the text preferences in the order notes, the production process will pause causing your order to ship later than expected.

QUANTITY: Quantity of images per sheet depends on the size of the topper. To determine the size, you will need to measure the mouth of the glass you will be using and go down a 1/2 inch. The topper should not take up the entire surface of the drink and should have at least a 1/2 inch rim of the drink visible on all sides. The most popular sizes are listed below. For a size not listed, please contact me.

1.5" - Twenty per sheet
2.0" - Fifteen per sheet
2.5" - Nine per sheet
3.0" - Six per sheet
4.0" - Three per sheet

PROOFS: Digital proofs are available upon request after your order is placed. Please request a proof in your order notes. Once your order has been placed you will receive a digital proof within two business days. Once the final proof has been approved your order will ship within three business days. Each order can receive up to two digital proofs. Three or more proofs will incur an additional fee.

PRODUCTION: The turn around time for these toppers is three business days. Larger orders (ten sheets or more) will take longer. Time may be added if you have requested a proof (please see Proofs section above).

SHIPPING: Shipping will depend on where you live and the method of shipping you choose. Please note that USPS delivery dates are an ESTIMATE ONLY and are not guaranteed. Shipping delays may occur during holiday seasons or due to unexpected delays. Free Standard Shipping on all orders of $30 or more. Standard shipping is USPS First Class Mail which generally arrives in 5 to 7 days. You can upgrade your shipping at checkout to USPS Priority Mail which arrives in 1-4 days. Please note that Priority Mail is not used for free shipping orders.

*Wafer paper is a tasteless edible paper made from potato starch and olive oil. It stays rather firm and papery and the consistency is similar to communion wafers. Wafer paper drink toppers should be stored in cool, dark place in the sealed plastic bag in which they are shipped. Do not refrigerate or freeze. They will keep indefinitely. However, edible inks may fade if exposed to light for extended periods.
