Wide domed brass ring bands featuring a high arch dome. Made by Hand from 100% pure jewelry grade brass. These wide bands make an excellent alternative wedding/engagement band. Available with a Shiny or soft brushed satin finish. Please make sure of your ring size before ordering. Note that these rings wear differently on the finger than traditional rings, as the sides of the ring are compressed to form the dome. This makes it so the ring rides the finger on the these rounded edges.

Brass will tarnish with exposure to moisture, environment and personal body chemistry. We include a polishing pad with every order to maintain the bright finish. Or if desired you can allow the finish to tarnish and take on a unique patina.

We do not coat these with any kind of sealant or lacquer, so they will take on a dark patina over time if left unpolished. Polish as you would silver with a simple jeweler's polishing cloth or jewelry safe polishing compound.

Will it turn me green?

The natural interaction between the salts and moisture in your skin and copper may cause the copper to oxidize and leave a surface coloration on your skin, the degree of which depends on your personal body chemistry and environment. This coloration washes off with soap and water.

Copper, Brass and Bronze items quickly tarnish and can cause a verdigris reaction with your skin. To polish these items, simply wipe with a jewelry polishing cloth regularly to keep it bright and shiny.

If you experience a verdigris reaction when wearing the item, wash with soap and water to remove the coloration from your skin, and clean the jewelry item with a soft, dry cloth. Verdigris is accelerated by damp, salty skin contact and exposure to harsh chemicals (bleach, ammonia). Keeping the item dry and your skin dry will help keep the reaction to a minimum.

Brass is an alloy of copper containing 70% copper, 30% zinc. Polished brass has a look similar to 14 karat gold but it does not have any of the anti-tarnishing properties of gold. Brass will tarnish rapidly depending on exposure to moisture, salts and body chemistry. Please do not buy brass with the expectation that it will wear like gold. Additionally, brass rings are constructed with silver solder. All brass rings will have a seam of silver where the ring was joined. This seam becomes more noticeable as the brass tarnishes.

14K Yellow Gold a traditional alloy of approximately 58% gold, 19% silver, 11% copper and 11% zinc.

14K Gold Filled metal contains a brass core and a machine rolled on coating of solid 14k gold. This coating of 14K gold is thicker and more durable than a gold plating.

All of our metals are manufactured in the USA from recycled green sources.
