Can I return an item?

Yes, we accept returns in most situations, please see specific listings for return policies. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Tracking is required. Restocking fees may be charged in unusual circumstances, such as: refused international shipments. International buyers are responsible for your country's import duties and fees. Refused or returned shipments will be refunded accordingly upon arrival. Please note: If multiple items from the same listing are, we require all to be returned. High grading is not permitted.

Can I upgrade shipping?

Absolutely, contact us with shipping requests. USPS Ground Advantage method is used for all shipments under $200, unless an upgraded method is selected at checkout or otherwise requested. Buyers are responsible for requesting insurance if desired, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages. It is buyers responsibility to upgrade shipping to meet their needs and expectations. Contact us if any shipping upgrades, signature confirmation, or insurance are desired.

Shop Sections: what do SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE, equal?

Most specimens are sorted by size, they are separated as follows: - Thumbnails with Perky Box = 2-30mm - XSMALL: up to 15mm - SMALL: 15-30mm - MEDIUM: Miniature-sized specimens = 30-60mm - LARGE: Cabinet-sized specimens = 60-100mm - XLARGE Cabinet-sized specimens = 100+mm (4" and larger) Size conversion: 25mm = 1 inch

Some specimens are attached to bases in photos, are they shipped that way?

It varies depending on the specimen, but safety first. Many specimens will be removed the stands prior to shipping and a stand + putty is included with most specimens photographed on a stand. For thumbnails, both glue and putty are or have been used (some items come out of old collections are are left in their original condition). Contact us with any specific questions or requests.

You are welcome to send offers, but typically we list items at their best price. Please keep in mind that sellers have a variety of expenses that are often not seen behind the scenes, such as: all associated fees and taxes, equipment, advertising, item cost, shipping (if applicable), etc. Thank you for your understanding!

What is the policy for refused and returned international shipments or unpaid customs fees?

We highly recommend not refusing your shipment or customs fees: 1. A refund will only be issued for the item once the shipment has been received by us, in its original condition. This is standard international practice. 2. Refused international mail is heavily delayed and commonly takes 4 to 12 weeks, with no return tracking information available. 3. If a carrier abandons or destroys the package, no refund will be issued. This is not something we have control over. Because there is no tracking on returns, we will not be notified if a shipment is abandoned/destroyed. 4. Original shipping is non-refundable. Any return shipping fees will be deducted from the final item refund.
