Forged by hand in fire and steel, this Ouroboros Necklace is inspired by Jörmungandr, the mighty World Serpent of Norse legend. Said to dwell in the endless sea, Jörmungandr encircled the entire world — his movements stirring the tides and shaping the rhythm of the oceans.
He is the eternal nemesis of Thor, the god of thunder. In the final battle of Ragnarök, the two are fated to meet — Order and Chaos, locked in a struggle that will end the old world and give rise to the new.
Wearing this pendant is a reminder of that balance — the meeting of creation and destruction, discipline and wildness, the calm and the storm. The ouroboros, a serpent devouring its own tail, symbolizes the cycle of life, death, and rebirth, eternal renewal forged in fire.
Each necklace is individually hand-forged, giving it an ancient, weathered texture — a piece that looks as if it were pulled from a Viking hoard. Every piece is burned in tar after forging to give it blackened look with excellent corrosion protection.
Diameter of the ouroboros is 35mm.
