If item arrives damaged

We take full responsibility for any damage caused in transport. Please send pictures of the damaged item within 7 days either via email at contact@glassrelief.co.uk or via etsy conversation, we will come up with a solution that will suit you. We will either send you a return label and try to salvage the item and send it back or we will send you a replacement or we will issue a refund, we are opened to any suggestion.

Each item is wrapped individually and carefully in foam paper, we then add a logo sticker on the front, certain items (up to 12cm in size) come in free organza bag which you can select on the listing (you can select that option only if it is available as it depends on the size of the item). We use made-to-size strong shipping boxes for our larger items. The void fill we use is biodegradable and the tape is eco-friendly. We take full responsibility for any damage caused in transport. We re-use packaging as much as we can.

Custom and personalised orders

Do not hesitate to contact us shold you wish to discuss a bespoke piece, it could be anything from a new design to a change of colour or size to a piece we already have listed. Once the final design is agreed with a sketch, we will proceed with the order and will send you a picture of the final piece before sending out. At that point, custom orders cannot be returned/refunded.

This large landscape glass panel illustrates an ammonite using low relief, colours and various processes to accentuate the texture of the ammonite. The front of the wall panel is smooth with the texture being on the underside of the glass creating shadows on the front. The glass is slightly translucent, the colours are different shades of blues, and turquoises in a swirl, you can see that the relief makes the design look different depending on the angle you look at it.

After completing his degree in Glass in 2002, Matthew worked for a large glass design company in London before setting up his own business in 2012. Matthew designs and makes everything in his studio in Dorset, on the south coast of the UK, near the Jurassic Coast. All the moulds are hand-carved, he applies the colours manually and the glass is slumped over the mould in a kiln at temperatures over 800C and annealed to ensure strength and durability.

CONTAINS: 1 large landscape ammonite wall panel in blue and turquoise in a swirl with a set of 3 fixings and fitting instructions.

FIXINGS: includes a set of 3 fixings and instructions, the wall panel will be 18mm(3/4") away from the wall, each fixing is a 2 part fixing provided with 2 allen keys, one part to screw into the wall and the second part is to be tighten with an allen key (provided) for the panel to slide in and to be tighten again.
