Highlights
Decorative stone wall plaque face mask 'Parisien'. A mascaron ornament in architecture is a face whose purpose was to frighten away evil spirits. They were usually placed above a door, like a keystone. Now they are used purely decoratively.
This decorative neo-classical style plaque, is hand cast from an antique plaque in our Sussex workshops in frost proof reconstituted stone with an antiqued white, sandstone or french terracotta colour finish.
Measures 30cm (12 ") wide x 30cm (12") high approx. weight approx. 13kg strong wire hook embedded in back.
depth at widest point approx. 13cm/5".
Because the plaque is hand made, colour/finish may vary slightly from that shown. This beautiful plaque will continue to age gracefully if exposed to the elements.
