Custom Armchair - Handmade Lounge Chair GELINA

The custom Armchair you design will be completely built and assembled in the traditional carpenter way, with tenons and mortises, dowels and carpenter glue. We don’t use any type of metal connector like our competitors do, the chairs would arrive loose or get loose overtime. You will receive your handcrafted armchair at the door of your house ready to enjoy.

We offer two different leathers; one is a Genuine Leather (Cortina leather) with a distressed finish, and the other one is a high quality faux leather, that resists 500.000 double rubs.

The woods we offer are: walnut, mahogany, cherry, hard maple and white oak
The finishes are: distressed, lacquer and oil (Rubio Monocoat)
The lacquer finish is the traditional furniture finish. It is very durable and resistant. It consists of sanding down the wood and applying two coats of industrial sealer and two coats of satin lacquer. I use Gemini Vinyl Sealer and lacquer.
Distressed consists of wearing down the wood & marking it in ways to make it look old, we also apply wax for protection
A third option is oil finish, I use Rubio Monocoat. It has the same performance as the lacquer. It makes a beautiful flat finish and enhances the grain making them darker.

This modern armchair is achieved with a mix of comfort and modernity that makes it unique.
The combination of its depth, the low seat height, its inclination and its high backrest make this armchair an excellent piece for rest, reading or enjoying a good movie; thanks to the position that the body adopts.
Just like the Gelina stool, in this piece the seat and backrest are constructed by a frame structure , and not by a simple board, which allows you to add more comfort, thanks to a sturdy 5 no-sag spring seat and a elastic webbings net for the back rest.
