Intermediate crochet pattern for Cute Headband/Ear Warmer using Light (DK) yarn and a combination of crossed cable stitches and Tunisian stitches. This crochet headband pattern is quick to make - just a couple of hours from start to finish, the perfect project for quick gifts. The stitches are fun and interesting to do, keeping you motivated.

The main part of the Headband is worked in the round. I've included instructions for how to adjust the circumference size so that you could also make it for children. The band is worked back and forth in Tunisian simple stitch, however you could easily make this band in basic crochet stitches and I've included instructions for that too.

I designed this cosy Ear Warmer to keep my ears toasty one winter after I got a short hairdo. I'm happy to say it worked a treat and didn't crush my hair! You can wear the band to the front as I have in the picture, or to the back if you prefer a plainer look.

• Size G6 (4mm) crochet hook
• darning needle

Finished size = to suit average Ladies' head with instructions for how to adjust and customize the size

The skill level for this project is Intermediate because of the crossed treble stitches. However, with the help of the photo tutorial I think this pattern would be achievable for those who are already comfortable with the basics in crochet and are keen to learn a few new stitches.

The pattern is written in both USA and British UK crochet terms (two separate Pdfs) with clear descriptions of the stitches. I've also included some tutorial photos to the pattern to ensure you can relax and crochet with confidence throughout.
