Name: Nikusagi
Breed: Dutch
Likes: Bananas, gardening, sports, making new friends
Dislikes: Being alone, loud noises

Nikusagi is a happy-go-lucky Dutch rabbit who’s very eager to be your new best friend! Look at those big eyes and attentive ears…how can you say ‘no’ to this loving lagomorph?! He's also inspired by our own loving rabbit, Nick, of the same breed! Nikusagi’s name is a combination of “Nick” and “usagi,” which means rabbit in Japanese.

Nick was a rescue rabbit. After bouncing between multiple foster homes and over state borders, we finally became his fifth and forever home in 2011. Though he had some trauma in his past, he still had an inspirational, upbeat attitude every single morning that reminds us all to look at the bright side of life. Even when he went blind, he was happily bouncing around and didn't let anything slow him down. He passed in 2023. Rest in peace, our little love and our biggest bunspiration. ♡
