We give you more than any other shop does for your purchase! Items with a chalkboard background will come with SEVERAL backgrounds to choose from (from plain black to real chalky). We also send free 8x10 sizes of every purchase. In addition many orders when we send samples we will send the name/title in different fonts and colors to choose from, so you have more choices then you paid for! No other shop does this! Please keep in mind these are all courtesy services to make sure you're 100% impressed with our shop, these aren't included in the pricing :)

Why do I need to pay extra to change colors or add graphics?

When you purchase a layout, you are paying for our time to create and personalize it. All layouts are currently priced as a fill in basis. To a customer something like changing colors may sound simple, but it can almost double it and in some instances custom requests can triple or quadruple the time it takes to make. For us to double/triple the price would not make it very reasonable for you, so we just require small custom fees. Once samples are sent, minor edits may be made to what was originally requested (if it's not something that initially would have required additional fees). To make extensive changes would incur additional fees. Switching a layout requires an additional purchase if the order has already been worked on.

I love this layout but would like it in a different color and different graphics added, is this possible?

Absolutely! With layouts we can do pretty much anything you like. Yes we can change colors. Yes we can change graphics/themes. Yes the categories can be changed. Yes these can be made for any age or gender. We are the YES people when it comes to customer service. HOWEVER, to make certain changes in most layouts does require an additional fee(s). For instance to change colors, graphics or go over limitations outlined in the description will require adding to cart as "custom" from the style drop down menu. To change two of these things requires adding to cart as "double custom" from the style drop down menu on a listing, 3 triple custom. A customer must make all design requests prior to order being worked on to avoid surprise fees.

Sample & Edit Request Policy:

A customer is required to request all custom requests/personalizations initially. If new requests are made after samples are made, further customization fees may be required depending on the request. All requests upon initial ordering must be made for proper pricing. Once samples are sent, minor edits may be made (as long as it is something that originally wouldn't have required extra customization fees). All changes must be made in one email/message after samples are sent. Initial cost does not cover indecisiveness. To make extensive changes will incur additional fees. Mind change about a layout AFTER samples have already been sent and you'd like another layout style/color change, that would require an additional purchase/fee.

What if I need changes after you send final files?

It is important to know that we only keep final files for 14 days. This is the version that we can physically edit (psd files). You may ask us to keep it for a bit longer if need be, but make sure to ask this before the time period is up. However, the download links we send with the JPEG files (these cannot be edited) may be available for you to download for up to 60 days after purchase if asked. We reserve the right to delete files after the 14 day period. Once a sample is approved and finals are sent, if a change is needed there are fees for this. Instructions are sent with your final files on how to make changes/costs. But changes must be requested within the 14 day period or you will have to repurchase the layout again

Once I have the final files, what do I do?

Don't worry we aren't just going to send you the file and leave you to figure it out on your own! When we send final files we send extensive and detailed instructions on how and where to get it printed, various ways to have it printed and our personal suggestions. You can print digital files at any local photo shop - walgreens, staples, walmart, office depot and thousands of places online as well.

Will I receive an actual chalkboard?

NO. As noted on the top of every description (not hidden in fine print), in policies, shop announcement, top of receipts and numerous other places "these are digital files only and nothing is shipped." These are just meant to look like they are on a chalkboard. As there are chalkboard like fonts used and when we send final files we will send multiple chalkboard backgrounds with your file to choose from.

What is your return policy & Turn Around Time?

Due to the custom and digital nature, once samples are sent there cannot be a refund. Don't worry though, we will send you a sample to make sure everything is correct and just how you want it! But once you choose a sample and finals are sent if you need corrections after fees are required. Certain changes incur additional fees if requiring extra customization or changing your mind on a layout style. Refunds are not given simply because full personalization details were not given prior and extra fees are not wanted to be paid. It is the customers responsibility to provide all details in the beginning for an accurate price quote. Mind changes may equate to extra fees.

What Size should I choose?

That varies drastically depending on what you'd like to do with it and where you plan to print! We always suggest checking the photo place you'd like to print and seeing the size they offer first. As all print shops offer different sizes. For instance walgreens offers 11x14, 16x20, 20x30, 24x36 but not 18x24 which staples and fedex offer and so on. It's important to choose the same size you plan on printing or things will get cut off. We do offer size changes. However, after final files are sent there is a fee to resize. So ensure you get the right size! If you want a large display for photoshoots or an entrance to a party we'd suggest a 20x30 size. If you're looking for a smaller tabletop, we'd suggest an 11x14 or 16x20.
