White Bridal Peignoir Set, Vintage Nightgown Set, 1960s Peignoir Negligee Set, Vintage Lingerie. This is a beautiful, white Peignoir negligee set that I would guess is from the early 1960s or late 1950s. This Holywood Vassarette set is simple and elegant and was probably a bridal peignoir. The tag is intact and it is a size SM and 100% nylon. The double chiffon robe has 16" elbow length puff sleeves in sheer chiffon with a thin band at the hem. The bodice has a thin area of smocking with small satin rose embellishments. The robe has one button and also a satin tie. The nightgown has the same type bodice as the robe with the smocking and roses, is sheer chiffon over another layer and has sheer chiffon on the strap area. The set is waltz length and approximately 39" long. The nightgown is approximately 21" armpit to armpit and the robe is approximately the same.
