Highlights
Wind In The Willows-Wayfarers All -This six- pack of cards features a detailed pen-and-ink drawing by LC DeVona of a picnic scene from Chapter 9 of the popular childrens' 1908 book, THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS, by Kenneth Grahame. The drawing shows the seafaring rat boasting of his high seas adventures aboard a seagoing ship in full sail to an enchanted river rat.
This pack of cards would be perfect for children of all ages, Wind in the Willows’ fans or anyone who appreciates tales of high seas’ adventures.
The illustration on these blank, ivory notecards was created by Afton artist, L.C. DeVona. The drawing was created using a Staedtler technical pen (with a 0.1 point).The original drawing is included in Linda’s 'Farmhouse Greetings' 2020 Wind in the Willows Calendar, but is now being offered in this Etsy shop as a notecard design. Cards are printed by the artist on a monochrome, laser printer on ivory cover stock, measure 5 1/2" by 4 1/4", and come tied with green ribbon with matching envelopes.

These cards and postcards are just marvelous - exactly like shown in the pictures, on very good quality paper with clear/crisp ink. The shop owner/artist took great care in packaging the cards that I ordered. I'm so excited to share these lovely notes with friends and family...though I'll be keeping a stash for myself, just to look at and enjoy :)
