The Dentell Douce sweater is a DK weight yarn, beginner friendly top down raglan sweater knitting pattern. It features a simple round neck and it is framed with a rolled edge around the neck, sleeve cuffs and bottom hem. Worked in the round in stockinette stitch all the way through. Intended to be worn with at least 10 cm of positive ease. The pattern is written in American knitting terms.

Bust size of the finished sweater with 5 to 10 cm of positive ease built into the pattern is XS38”,S401⁄2”,M42”,L441⁄2”, XL47”,2XL53”,3XL561⁄2“,4XL601⁄2“, 5XL 64 1⁄2” inches, (XS 97, S 103, M 107, L 113, XL 120, 2XL 134, 3XL 144, 4XL 154, 5XL 164 cm). Model is wearing size M on 93 cm bust.

Gauge
20 stitches by 27rows = 4”x 4” (10x10cm) using size US 6 / 4.00 mm needles in stockinette stitch, in the round after washing and blocking.

Suggested Yarn
200, 225, 250, 265, 285, 300, 350, 375, 400 grams of Classic Cardiff Cashmere color 511 Brown. (25 grams = 112 meters /122 yards).

Suggested needles
For the neck and first half of the yoke you will need 16”/ 40 cm and 32" or longer US 3 / 3.25 mm circular knitting needles, and a set of US 3 / 3.25 mm DPN for the sleeve cuffs, US 6 / 4.00 mm, 16” + 32” or 40” /40 cm + 80 cm or 100 cm circular knitting needles or size to obtain gauge for the body or US 6 / 4.00 mm 25 cm / 10” circular needles or DPN for sleeves. Longer needles can be used for the sleeves if you use magic loop method.
