This file is in English and it is an uneditable excel file. Please do not purchase it with the intent to manipulate the programmed calculations. I made this file to be as simple as possible so you just plug in your data (hours of labor, materials cost, your hourly rate) and you get 5 state of the art options for pricing, including wholesale an retail.

This is an Excel file. So you probably need Excel, or access to Excel, for the pricing calculator to work. (You may also be able to find free programs obtainable online that include Excel or emulate Excel, such as OpenOffice.)

Although this program was originally created to calculate the costs for jewelry makers, it can be used for any craft, hobby, or trade.

This is a file to help you calculate pricing. It is NOT a file to store your inventory.

All you have to do to get the suggested retail and wholesale price of any item is to type in:
-- The time it took to make the item
-- What you pay yourself (or someone else) per hour for the labor of making the item
-- What your materials cost

The program automatically calculates your total materials cost, labor costs, overhead and profit margin, giving you both retail and wholesale prices to work with.

There are five popular pricing models to choose from. You may want to see all the options when your work swings from costly materials with little labor to inexpensive materials with intensive labor. Sometimes just having ONE pricing scenario doesn't work for all fabrication scenarios.

This file includes two bonus pages:
-- A worksheet to calculate the cost of wire or sheet used in your design
-- A worksheet to calculate gallery fees or consignment store fees

There are 2 files in this purchase. One is the aforementioned PDF of instructions, the other is the Excel file for calculations.

The file shows a U.S. dollar sign, but the formulas are the same across the board so just visually imagine your own country's currency symbol.

The formulas and templates are locked so there is no need to worry you might accidentally mess up the file. Do not contact me asking for an unlocked version, please.

After purchasing this tutorial, you’ll see a link to the Downloads page. Here, you can download the files. Downloads are available once your payment is confirmed. If you paid with PayPal or a credit card on Etsy, confirmation may take a few minutes. You’ll see a notice at the top of the page, if your payment is still processing. Etsy will also send you a download notification email separate from any transaction notification emails. To access your digital file(s), visit your “Purchases” page and look for the order. To the right of the order, click Files Ready to Download. This goes to the Downloads page for all the files attached to your order. There are generally no limits for when or how many times you can download a file. In most cases you can access a file any time on your Purchases page, provided the transaction hasn't been canceled or removed. If your payment is still processing, the Files Ready to Download button will be grey. You can only download files from a browser window, not the mobile Etsy app.
