Materials
For my sample, I used 100% linen yarn REX (50 g / 1.08 oz, 150 m / 164 yd per ball) and 2.5 mm crochet hook. Cotton yarn or cotton/acrylic blends also work beautifully for this project. Depending on your gauge, fingering or sport weight yarns are both suitable. You may need approximately 5 or slightly more balls of the suggested yarn to achieve the listed size.

Stitches used in the pattern: single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, popcorn stitch, chains, slip stitches, and 2 stitches together.
