### Designed With Privacy in Mind

One of our customers' favorite features is the discreet engraving.

Unlike a brightly printed luggage tag that displays your information from across the room, our laser engraving is intentionally more subtle. Depending on the acrylic color selected, your information may become most visible when the tag is viewed closely or tilted toward the light.

Your contact information is still there when someone needs to identify your bag, but it does not have to be prominently displayed throughout your travels.

### Acrylic Finishes

* **Matte Black:** Matte, non-glare finish on both sides
* **Shiny Black:** Gloss finish on one side, matte non-glare finish on the other
* **Frosted Clear:** Gloss finish on one side, matte frosted finish on the other
* **Clear:** Gloss finish on both sides
* **White:** Gloss finish on both sides
* **Transparent Blue:** Gloss finish on both sides
* **Transparent Smoke:** Gloss finish on both sides

### How the Engraving Looks

Your personalization is permanently laser engraved directly into the acrylic. We do **not** use printing, vinyl, or color-fill on this product.

The appearance of the engraving depends on the acrylic color:

* **Clear & Frosted Clear:** Highest contrast. The engraving appears white or frosted and is easy to read.
* **Transparent Colors:** Medium contrast. The engraving typically appears off-white, light grey, or frosted.
* **Matte Black:** A balance between visibility and discretion. The engraving is visible straight on but becomes clearer when tilted.
* **Opaque Colors:** Lowest contrast. Colors such as Shiny Black and White create a more subtle engraving that is easiest to see when the tag is tilted toward the light.

### Your Personalization Proof

A digital proof is included with your order.

Within approximately **1–3 business days**, you will receive an email from **[orders@littledotstudio.com](mailto:orders@littledotstudio.com)** showing your requested personalization.

Please review your proof carefully for spelling, formatting, and other personalization details.

You will have **48 hours** to request changes or approve your proof. If we do not receive a response within 48 hours, your order may proceed to production using the proof provided.

## Order Information & Policies

### Made-to-Order Products

Each personalized tag is made specifically for your order. Because production may begin shortly after your proofing process starts, orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.

### Proofing

Digital proofs are sent to the email address associated with your order.

Please review all names, phone numbers, email addresses, spelling, punctuation, and formatting carefully. Changes must be submitted during the 48-hour proofing period.

Once a proof has been approved or the proofing period has passed and production has begun, we cannot remake or refund an item because of personalization information that was submitted or approved incorrectly.

### Processing Time

Our standard production time is approximately **1–3 business days** before shipment unless otherwise noted on the listing or your order.

Shipping transit time is separate from production time.

### Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the craftsmanship of our products.

If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect or an error made by Little Dot Studio, please contact us so we can make it right.

### Returns & Refunds

Because personalized products are made specifically for you, we are generally unable to accept returns or provide refunds for a change of mind, color preference, or approved personalization.

If a return is authorized for a non-defective item:

* Please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
* The item must be returned unused and in its original condition.
* A 25% restocking fee may apply to help cover customization and production costs.
* Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

If there is a craftsmanship issue or an error made by Little Dot Studio, please contact us directly and we will work with you on an appropriate resolution.
