One of the most popular way to have fever grass, here in Jamaica is as a cup of tea.
HOW TO MAKE FEVER GRASS (LEMON GRASS) TEA:
The fever grass is broken into smaller pieces and placed in a container of boiling water.
Allow it to boil for 60 seconds, allow to steep for another few minutes, then removed and sweeten with your favourite sweetener.
It is also quite popular for ginger and other herbs to be added.
Here I typically grate ginger and add it for an even more delicious taste!
Please note that the leaves of the fever grass may also used to add flavor and aroma to dishes. Hang indoors, it also add a fresh flavor to rooms.
It is also now widely used as an insect repellent.
