The Contour Fitted dress block comes is perfect as a base for developing any style that needs to fit the contours of the body. The block comes in UK sizes 8-18 UK (14- 4 USA) Each dress block is printed on an individual sheet for clarity as there are lots of fitting lines on the draft.

This is my most useful block - ideal for very fitted dress styles and also ideal for developing bra and corset patterns- the extra contour fitting has all been done for you on this block and is clearly marked.

KEY FEATURES OF THE BLOCK
Increased suppression at the neckline to aid the fitting of low neckline styles and avoid gaping.
An added cleavage dart for fitting bras and corsets, close fitting tops and dresses.
Increased overall bust suppression for a much closer fit over the body.
Contour fitted darts at bust and waist to enable the fit to hug the curves of the body particularly under the bust area.
Armhole dart for sleeveless styles and a closer fit
Ideal for fabrics with comfort stretch.

Please note that these are basic blocks- they do not contain seam allowance and are intended for pattern cutters and small design businesses so they can make their own patterns.

The block is cut to the hip- simply lengthen with a rectangle as required.
