All my ceramic pieces are made-to-order and take 4-6 weeks production time :) I know this can seem like a long time to wait for your new piece, but remember that every made-to-order piece is made for you by me, working by myself to wedge, form, decorate, dry, bisque and glaze and fire by hand! Every single piece is unique and has it's own personality and was made special for you :)

This listing is for a handmade wheel-thrown ceramic bowl, individually decorated with hand-poured glaze. This is a perfect bowl for soup, a bowl of cereal, ice cream, noodles, or whatever you want! Each bowl is unique, though they are all approximately 6.5" x 3"

Each bowl is made from a weighed-out ball of clay, and measured as I throw so that they have the same proportions, and stack together nicely. They are all hand-glazed individually and each one is unique. I use a recycled clay so the colour of the clay body varies from batch to batch. I like to use a darker clay with speckles in it that lend the surface an interesting and rusting look.

These bowls are dishwasher safe. All my glazes are lead-free and food safe.

Pottery is very durable and as long as you treat them well these plates will last many lifetimes!

All items are hand-made to order, unless marked as ready to ship. Since I am making each item individually based off your order, a lead time of 4-6 weeks should be expected. I will try and complete your order as fast as possible to ensure that you get your item as quickly as possible.
If you need something by a specific date please get in touch and we will figure out together what we can do to make it happen.

If any of the items in your order arrive broken or damaged in transit, please do the following:
1. Let me know as soon as possible, within 5 days of receiving your package.
2. Please provide photos of the damage
3. Please provide photos of the box if it was damaged, if not please let me know

I will replace any items that have been damaged in transit at no cost to you :) Nothing is worse than having something arrive broken, and it is just as devastating for me. The cost associated for me to replace items for free is significant, but I am happy to do it for anyone who has received a broken item!

Alternatively, we can arrange to refund the items that arrived broken, if you contact me within 5 business days of receiving your package.

I accept returns from customers in Canada but at this time cannot accept returns from customers outside of Canada.

All customized items are final sale. If you want initials engraved or any other customized item I cannot accept returns for those items.

Items that are returned will be reimbursed but customers are responsible for postage cost of returned items. I will not refund postage price on the original order.

Most of the items in my shop are made to order. This means that when you place an order, it gets added to my production queue. Pottery can be a very long process that involves many steps. From preparing the clay, to making the piece, waiting for it to dry a bit before you can add finishing touches, or assemble the different parts, then wait some more for it to dry enough to put in the first bisque firing, then glazing it, and firing it for the glaze firing.

There are a lot of steps in the process, and I work from oldest order to newest. When you place an order I am not always able to start working on it right away, as there are often other orders in the queue ahead, which is why there is a production time of about 4 weeks.
