Felt Turtle Sewing Pattern: DIY Tortoise Home Decor, Craft Tutorial in English (PDF Download)

This is a digital and downloadable PDF file containing a sewing pattern and instructions in English to make a felt turtle / tortoise, which is a perfect home decoration, a toy or a handmade gift. Also, this sewing pattern in itself can be a thoughtful gift for a sewing enthusiast! (And perhaps add felt and embroidery thread to complete the gift!) (No physical item will be shipped to you upon purchase.) The finished turtle / tortoise is approximately 12 cm (4 3/4") long and 7 cm (2 3/4") high.

You can make the shell of this turtle / tortoise with or without scutes (the light brown panels on the shell of the brown tortoise). The scutes make the shell look a bit bumpier and thicker, giving the creature a more tortoise-like appearance, I think!

This project does not require a sewing machine; it only involves hand sewing.

This item comes in two PDF files (each consisting of 28 pages and about 9.1 MB in size). Their contents are the same, but one file is designed for US Letter size paper, and the other for A4. Each file consists of:
1. Detailed and easy-to-follow instructions in English with step-by-step photos,
2. A guide to cutting out felt patterns,
3. A stitch glossary, and
4. Simple and clearly marked patterns.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR SEWING PATTERN:

Upon purchasing one of my digital sewing patterns, you will receive a download notification email from Etsy containing links to the downloads. You can also access your digital purchases by signing in to your account on Etsy.com (NOT the Etsy app!).

PDFs are compatible with various operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux. They can also be viewed on Android and iOS devices. To view these digital documents, please use a trusted PDF reader that is constantly updated, such as Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or later, to protect yourself from possible security risks. PDFs can also be accessed through built-in PDF viewers of many popular web browsers, such as Firefox, Safari, Chrome, and Edge.

Each of my sewing patterns comes in two versions, one for US Letter size paper and another for A4 size paper. Please select the appropriate paper size version of the file (US Letter or A4) for your printer. Once downloaded, the instructions can be viewed either on screen or printed out on printer paper, but please print out the sewing pattern pages at 100% scale.
