⏳ PROCESSING TIMES & RUSH ORDERS

We cannot refund or cancel orders due to shipping delays. In some cases, we may need to contact you to confirm details, measurements or order specifications. It is the buyer’s responsibility to monitor Etsy messages and email and provide the required information promptly. If no response is received, we will proceed with the order

🎨 CUSTOM AND PERSONALISED ORDERS

We offer different levels of customization. Simple options include leather color, hardware finishes, or minor design tweaks. Additional costs apply based on complexity. Size adjustments or custom embossing (stencils) require pattern modifications and will receive a specific quote. Fully custom designs are evaluated individually; we prioritize projects that fit our workshop model. CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED. DISCOUNT CODES OR SALES DO NOT APPLY TO ANY CUSTOM WORK.

We use European standard sizing as our base. If you require very small or very large sizes, please contact us before ordering so we can advise you properly. For armor pieces, accurate measurements are essential. For items such as breastplates, we require shoulder width and belly circumference, not just height. Different body types require different considerations. For high-value pieces such as armor, we strongly recommend not trying to force a standard size to avoid a custom order. If you are making this investment, the fit should be correct and worth it. If you are unsure about measurements, contact us before purchasing. We are happy to guide you.

🛠️ MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP

We work with premium quality leather sourced from animals raised for human consumption, including cow, goat and rabbit leather. We also use: • Genuine leather cords • High-quality metal hardware (brass, nickel, antique finishes) • Resin for select decorative elements All pieces are hand painted and aged using proprietary coloring and finishing techniques developed over more than 20 years. These processes give each item its distinctive character and unique appearance.

💰 PRICING, SALES & QUALITY

Our prices reflect the real work behind each piece. Our leather finishes are not superficial or made for photos only. We use deep colors, layered aging and controlled wear designed to improve with time and use. Our designs are created to work across many characters, worlds and events, not for a single costume or photoshoot. Versatility, durability and long-term wear are part of the design process from the start. Quality is visible in the leather itself, the edges, the flexibility and how the piece feels in hand. · SALES If a sale starts after you place your order, the price paid remains the final price. Discounts are not applied retroactively to previous purchases.

Our pieces are made from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, a natural material that evolves with use. When new, leather may feel stiff. This is normal and will soften over time. To help the break-in process, gently bend the leather in different directions without forcing it. For basic care: • Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth • Apply a small amount of leather conditioner if needed • Body lotion can be used in a pinch We recommend applying conditioner to the inner side, as conditioning the outer surface may slightly darken the color or affect the aging finish.

📐 PATTERNS & TEMPLATES

We do not sell, share or license our patterns. Our patterns are part of our professional heritage and represent many hours of design, testing and refinement. We make a living by creating and selling finished pieces, not by distributing the tools used to make them. We kindly ask that you do not request patterns or templates. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our work and craft.

Quality products couldn’t ask for anything better thank you.

Response from OutCast Props

That is a wonderful compliment to receive. We’re so happy the bracer felt like the quality piece you were hoping for. The Yggdrasil design is one we really enjoy making, so it means a lot to know it landed so well. Thank you for choosing our work.

Looks good, very dense. Will need to add some padding and fur to make it wearable, it's very coarse and chafing on it's own, even when on clothes.

David Jan 20, 2026

Outcast Props was great. I ordered a leather archery forearm protector with a Viking design, and it’s fantastic—furnishes tremendous protection while looking genuine and overall impressive. I would definitely by from Outcast Props again, and I highly recommend them!

David Jan 20, 2026

Response from OutCast Props

David, thank you for sharing such a clear and generous review. We’re really glad to hear that the bracer does its job properly, offering solid protection while still looking authentic and imposing on the arm. That balance between function and aesthetics is exactly what we look for in pieces meant for archery and LARP use. It’s meant to feel reliable in action, not just look good, so knowing it met your expectations means a lot to us. We truly appreciate the recommendation and your trust in our work. It will be a pleasure to make something for you again in the future.

Exellent product, just as the pictures

Response from OutCast Props

Good to know it matched the photos so closely. When a bracer looks the same in hand as it does in the listing, it means the details carried through properly. Glad it worked out for you.
