The finished pendant is 1.5 cm taller than the cabochon you use for this project (my stone is 4 cm tall and the pendant is 5.5 cm tall).
All the WireArtTutorials designs are made with SOFT (dead soft), round copper wire. NO SOLDERING NEEDED!!!

TOOLS needed: flat nose pliers, round nose pliers & jewelry cutter.
WIRES:
-base wire: 18ga (1 mm) wire
-weaving wire: 22ga (0.6 mm) wire
If you will use a stone smaller than 3.5 cm (35 mm), then I recommend to use 20ga (0.8 mm) base wire and 26ga (0.4 mm) weaving wire.
STONE:
-1 teardrop cabochon between 25-45 mm tall
The high resolution pictures are showing every single step, with the corresponding well written instructions. Everyone can easily follow this tutorial without previous experience, as the guide is very detailed. If you will have a question, or if you need help, you can contact me anytime. The design includes different techniques which you can use later in other jewelry designs as well. You will learn several wire wrapping, weaving techniques and stone, cabochon setting. This is a great combination to learn a lot of intermediate techniques.
