This listing is for ONE (1) “grenadoe” bottle, with ONE (1) cork - however, you can choose to buy multiple bottles if we have them in stock, and we do offer an option for extra corks, which we generally recommend if you intend to use them frequently. We try to keep these bottles in stock as regularly as possible - however, they are complex and time consuming to produce, and their construction often relies on good weather, so they may go out of stock periodically until we have a chance to make more. (In other words, if you see them in stock, and you want one, don’t wait!)

These spherical glass bottles have been cleverly disguised as classic pirate hand-grenades (or "grenadoes" as they were sometimes called). They feature a texturized coating, designed to look just like a real primitive cast-iron explosive! The cork has been furnished with a short length of hemp to simulate a fuse (slightly charred at the end, for character). The neck is wrapped with waxed hemp cord and finished with a small loop for easy belt-hanging. Sling one from a mug-strap on a ren-faire belt, or hang TONS of them from a bandolier for that terrifying "Blackbeard" look! They also feature a flat bottom, making them easy to display, or just set down securely on flat surfaces while not in use.

Our grenadoe bottles come in 3 unique finishes: Plain metallic, medium-weathered, and extra-crusty/heavily-corroded! Choose which one suits you best, depending on how long you've been at sea!

These bottles hold roughly 6 fluid ounces, and are perfect for discretely carrying any libation you prefer, while also serving as a fun and authentic costume prop! Just imagine the look on your friends' faces when you grab one off your belt, pull out the cork, and casually take a swig! But even if you don’t fill them, they still make great costume accessories!

1) These bottles are NOT real explosive devices. The fuse is non-functional, and cannot be made to function. The Castaway Trading Co. does NOT endorse the misuse of this product, which is intended ONLY as a costume prop.
2) When painting and aging these bottles, we always carefully mask off the opening, leaving it unpainted, so as not to pose any health risks.
3) The coating on these bottles provides a SLIGHT impact protection to the glass, but please be mindful - these are still glass bottles, and they can still break if handled too roughly. If you believe your bottle may have become cracked or broken, DO NOT continue to drink from it, under any circumstances! Loose shards of glass may be present inside broken bottles, and could pose a serious health risk!
