The romper pictured here is a size 4-6 months and knitted with baby alpaca yarn. You can also simply use organic cotton for this pattern. It definitely fits because the romper is knitted oversized (see 2nd photo).
Level of difficulty: suitable for beginners (see linked videos + pattern instructions on YouTube) - some knitting experience is helpful and some practice, e.g. B. in the techniques: stitch cast-on, cast off stitches, knit right and left stitches, slipover.
Materials needed
Wool: (100% GOTS certified baby alpaca wool ORGANIC OEKO-TEX 100)
Wool shown here: Light brown Art. no. CQ5Baby Alpaca Wool. But you can also use organic cotton.
-- alternatively also with cotton SOSTRENE GENRE Organic Cotton 8/4, running length 50 g/ 160 m--
The number of stitches can be taken over 1:1.
Knitting needles: Size 4 / For cotton: 3.5
Consumption: 0 - 4 months approx. 150 g (3 skeins) - (cotton: approx. 2 skeins / 50 gr./160 m)
4 - 8 months approx. 200 g (4 skeins) - (cotton: approx. 3 skeins / 50 g./160 m)
8 - 12 months approx. 250 g (5 skeins) - (cotton: approx. 4 skeins / 50 g./160 m)
For size 0 - 3 months we used 125 g baby alpaca - (cotton: approx. 100 g / 50 g / 160 m)
Wool needle: For sewing the threads together
Safety pins: for sewing (if needed)
Measurements 0 - 4 months:
Leg circumference: 17 cm
Body circumference: 46 cm
Chest circumference: 36 cm
Total length: 27 cm (leg - chest)
Strap length: 21 cm (variable / 2 buttons
2 buttons per strap were attached to the strap. So the #muessaromper can grow with you.
