I am more than happy to make custom and personalised pieces. whether this is designing and making a piece from scratch, or simply by hand-stamping your choice of personalised letters or numbers to an existing piece in my collection. Please feel free to message me to discuss what you would like. Please contact me ASAP if you wish to cancel a custom/personalised piece as I cannot accept returns on customised pieces unless faulty.

I make all rings in UK ring sizes, if you need any help with ring size conversion please do contact me, I can always send you a ring sizer to help, for $0.99 plus local postage costs If the ring is for you wrap a piece of string strip of paper around the finger and mark where the edges meet. Women's Bracelet Sizes

Women's bracelet sizing (average is 17.8cm): Extra small: 15.3cm (6") Small: 16.5cm (6.5") Small medium: 17.8cm (7") Medium: 19cm (7.5") Large: 20.2cm (8") Extra Large: 21.5cm (8.5cm) Or measure around the wrist with a tape measure or string, to find the best fit and feel of the bracelet. Women's Bangle Sizes: The average size is 20.2cm Extra small: 16.5cm (6.5") Small: 17.8cm (7") Small/Medium 19cm (7.5") Medium: 20.2cm (8") Large: 21.5cm (8.5") Extra Large: 22.8cm (9") For Bangle sizes measure around your clenched fist with a tape measure or marked paper or string. Bangles the size of the wrist is not important as the bangle has to fit over the wrist.

Men's bracelet sizes, alternatively measure around you wrist to get the best fit and feel. Small: 19cm (7.5") Medium: 20cm (7.85") Large: 21cm (8.25") Extra Large: 22cm (8.75") Men's Bangle Sizes: The best way to find you require bangle size is by measuring around the widest part of your clenched fist, alternatively below is a guide to men's bangle sizes: Extra small: 19cm (7.5") Small: 20.3cm (8") Medium: 21.5cm (8.5cm) Large: 22.8cm (9") Extra large: 24cm (9.5cm)

Gift wrapping and packaging

The boxes I use are navy blue card boxes, inside the box is black flock insert. The size of box is suitable for the size and type of jewellery piece. The box is finished with a hand tied satin navy-blue ribbon and inside the box a contents label on top of black tissue paper. The label has my "Helen Burgess Jewellery" logo on it and contains information of what the jewellery has been handmade from. If the item has been marked as a gift, I will wrap the box with beige parcel paper before the ribbon goes on.

Please do get in contact with me if you need a piece quickly or for a certain date. All pieces sent in the UK, are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery (to be with you next available working day.) Please note that special delivery does require a signature. If you are based in the UK, I will do my best to make the piece you need within the time frame you need the piece for. please bare in mind that some pieces are made from scratch and may take a couple of days to make. For international deliveries, shipping can take up to 2 weeks.

If your item has not been received when you expected it to be delivered, please contact me as soon as possible. Do check with your local Post office as well, or that ther has not been a card left, saying that there is a parcel to be collected. During Christmas, post can be held up for longer, particularly if shipped to the USA, as postage times can increase to 2-3 weeks.

For cleaning most of my pieces I would recommend using jewellery cleaning clothes. Never attempt to clean or polish oxidized jewellery pieces, as the black oxide is only on the surface and will be removed, unless the oxidization has been used in hand stamped/indents of the piece in which the cloth should only polish the higher parts of the metal. For pieces with no oxidization: Sterling silver pieces with no stones or oxidized elements can be placed in a bowl on top of baking foil and baking soda and pour boiling water over them and leave for a few minutes. Do take care with hot water. Gold can be cleaned by scrubbing the piece with a toothbrush and liquid dish detergent. Brass: using a paste of lemon juice and baking soda.

All the jewellery I make and list on Etsy will be clearly stated what the piece has been made from. All the rings and bangles have been made from solid sterling silver, solid gold and occasionally fine silver. On rare occasions with silver jewellery particularly rings, a greening of the skin can happen, this is not harmful. It is down to a reaction between the silver and the chemicals on the skin like your sweat, moisturiser, perfumes, cleaning products and sometimes water particularly sea water and swimming pools. Some people are more reactive than others to this greening.

This handmade ring can be personalised either on the inside or outside of the ring or left blank.

This lovely ring has been handmade using recycled sterling silver for the band and a recycled 9ct yellow gold heart has been soldered onto the front of the ring. Inside of the ring are the words love you always which have been hand stamped on the silver. The message has been oxidized to emphasize the lettering and gold heart.

This ring can be personalised with a message of your choice, using up to 22 characters, on the inside. 18 on the outside. Or left with no personalisation.

Can be stamped with capital letters, numbers and or with tiny heart stamps. I use metal stamps, to stamp the personalisation, not laser engraving, or hand engraving.

Ring thickness: 0.2cm x 0.2cm

Stamped letter size: 0.15cm x 0.1cm

Please state your required ring size in the box marked size in the right-hand corner of the screen.

It can take between 3 - 5 days before being posted. Posted by special delivery to UK addresses.
