World in a Nutshell
Herzliche Grüße aus Chicago. Mein Name ist Timothy, ein Vollzeit-Softwareentwickler und Teilzeit-Kunsthandwerker / Sammler. Ich habe meine Freizeit genutzt, um meine Techniken bei der Herstellung von Miniaturhandwerk mit Glas, Keramik, Harz und PVC zu lernen, zu üben und zu verbessern. Die Mittel, die ich von Etsy bekommen habe, decken so ziemlich die Materialkosten ab (plus ein wenig Gewinn aus diesem Teilzeit-Hobby). In der Zwischenzeit habe ich meine Netzwerke mit Leuten aufgebaut, die mir die Bastelmaterialien, Werkzeuge und Leute zur Verfügung stellen, die mit mir zusammenarbeiten können, um Teile herzustellen, die ich nicht machen kann. Ich schlüssele die Techniken auf und übe jede von ihnen wiederholt, indem ich eine Vielzahl von Handarbeiten mache.
Warm greetings from Chicago. My name is Timothy, a full-time software developer and part-time handicrafts maker/collector. I have been using my leisure time to learn, practice, and improve my techniques in making miniature crafts with glass, ceramic, resin, and PVC. The funds I got from Etsy pretty much cover the material cost (plus a little profit from this part-time hobby). Meanwhile, I have been building my networks with people who provide me with the crafting materials, tools, and people who can collaborate with me to make parts that I can't do.
