Ich habe mit dem Cosplayen an einem Tiefpunkt in meinem Leben als Fluchtweg begonnen. Ich hatte wirklich nicht viele Freunde, die mich ehrlich unterstützt haben und seit ich angefangen habe, habe ich viele Freunde fallen gelassen, die ihr wahres Gesicht gezeigt haben.
Der Anfang war hart, aber ich würde es jederzeit wieder tun. Seitdem habe ich unzählige tolle Menschen mit solch kreativen Köpfen kennengelernt, und das hat mich dazu gebracht, meine Kreationen mit anderen zu teilen – sei es ein Muster für dein nächstes Cosplay oder ein STL-Format zum Drucken deiner Traumwaffe!
Mein bester Tipp für den Anfang: FANG einfach an! Dein erstes Cosplay muss nicht unbedingt mit Nähen verbunden sein. Ein sogenanntes „Closet Cosplay“ ist für Neulinge der beste Weg, sich wohlzufühlen. Schnapp dir einfach, was du im Kleiderschrank hast, und probier aus, als welche lässige Figur du dich verkleiden kannst!
Die Cosplay-Community war eine der gastfreundlichsten mir gegenüber und ich möchte meinen Teil dazu beitragen, neue Leute so gut wie möglich willkommen zu heißen. Und die beste Möglichkeit dafür besteht für mich darin, meine Kreationen zu teilen.

I began cosplaying at a very low point in my life as an escape route, I really didn't have many friends who supported me truthfully and since I have started I have dropped a lot of friends who have shown their true colors.
The beginning was tough but I would do it again if I had to. I have since met tons of amazing people with such creative minds and it pushed me to want to share what I have created, whether it be a pattern for your next cosplay or an STL to print your dream weapon!
My best advice to start is just to START, your first cosplay does not have to involve any sewing. Starting with what is commonly known as a "closet cosplay" is the best way for a newbie to feel comfortable. Just grab whatever you have in your closet and see what casual character you can dress up as!
The cosplaying community was one of the most welcoming to me, I would like to do my part in welcoming new people as best I can, and the best way for me to do that is to share my creations.
