It all started with one messy kitchen, one stubborn schnauzer, and my wife — a former food scientist who refused to let our dog snack on anything she wouldn’t eat herself.

When we brought home our first miniature schnauzer, we were shocked by how many store-bought treats were packed with fillers, preservatives, and ingredients we couldn’t even pronounce, chemicals and starches that are not beneficial for our pet, ( his name is Bowser) We wanted something better — treats that were wholesome, simple, and actually tasty. So we rolled up our sleeves, made a giant mess, and got baking.

I focus on execution — setting up this shop, making sure there's a channel for more people to get wholesome snacks for their pets. My wife applies her food science expertise to make sure every recipe is nutritionally balanced, safe, and made with 100% human-grade ingredients. Together, we create treats that are free from fillers, preservatives, and artificial nonsense. Just real whole foods, real meat, and a whole lot of love.

We bake in small batches to keep everything fresh, so when you open a bag of Clumsy Chef treats, you know your pet is getting something made just for them — not pulled from a warehouse shelf. Every snack is taste-tested by our very own “quality control team” (Bowser, of course).
