KepoPrints entstand aus einer kahlen Wand in einer Kopenhagener Wohnung und der Überzeugung, dass gute botanische Kunst nicht eine Monatsmiete kosten sollte. Jedes meiner Werke ist eine Aquarellstudie einer einzelnen Pflanze: Eukalyptus, Lavendel, Feige, Granatapfel. Die Farbpalette ist bewusst dezent gehalten, damit sich die Drucke harmonisch in den Raum einfügen, anstatt ihn zu dominieren.
Die druckbaren Sets sind die preisgünstige Variante: Dateien herunterladen, zu Hause oder im Copyshop ausdrucken und nach Belieben rahmen. Die gerahmten Drucke sind die bequeme Lösung: Gedruckt auf mattem 200-g/m²-Papier, gerahmt in schwarzem Kiefernholz und direkt vom nächstgelegenen Produktionsstandort versandt – fertig zum Aufhängen.
Alles wird digital in Dänemark gestaltet, wobei KI-gestützte Bildbearbeitungstools zum Einsatz kommen: Ich gebe den Stil, die Pflanzen und die Farbpalette vor und wähle die finalen Elemente aus. Ich beantworte jede Nachricht persönlich, in der Regel innerhalb eines Tages.
KepoPrints started with a bare wall in a Copenhagen apartment and the feeling that good botanical art shouldn't cost a month's rent. I design each piece as a watercolour study of a single plant: eucalyptus, lavender, fig, pomegranate, and keep the palette muted so the prints settle into a room instead of shouting at it.
The printable sets are the budget path: download the files, print them at home or at a local shop, frame them however you like. The framed prints are the lazy path: printed on matte 200gsm paper, framed in black pine, and shipped from the production facility nearest you, ready to hang.
Everything is designed digitally in Denmark, with AI image tools as part of the process: I direct the style, the plants and the palettes, and curate what makes the cut. I answer every message myself, usually within a day.
