Qui suis-je?
Je m'appelle Lyndsey et je suis la créatrice de Lively Mountains Artisan. Née dans les années 90, j'ai passé beaucoup de temps chez ma grand-mère. J'ai appris les bases du crochet très jeune et, en grandissant, j'ai eu envie de me perfectionner ! J'aime crocheter, tricoter, broder et coudre.
D'où vient ce nom ?
Quand j'ai commencé à fabriquer des chapeaux, je voulais une jolie étiquette de boutique à y apposer et j'ai simplement utilisé mes initiales. Une fois ma production augmentée et mon envie de me lancer sur les réseaux sociaux, j'ai senti qu'il me fallait un nom d'entreprise. Il se trouve que trois lieux de mon enfance s'accordaient avec « LM » ! « Lively » vient de Lively, en Virginie, d'où sont originaires mes grands-parents, et « Mountains » fait référence à nos séjours en camping à Madison, en Virginie, ainsi qu'à mon enfance dans les montagnes de Virginie-Occidentale !
Who Am I?
My name is Lyndsey and I am the face behind Lively Mountains Artisan. A true 90's baby who spent a lot of time at grandma’s house. I learned the basics of crochet at a young age and as I got older, I was ready to take a deep dive! I like to crochet, knit, embroider, and sew.
Where Did the Name Come From?
When I first started making hats, I wanted a cute boutique tag to put on them and just used my initials. Once I started making more product and wanted to move to social media, I felt like I needed a business name. It just so happened that I had 3 childhood places that fit with “LM”! Lively comes from Lively, VA where my grandparents are from and Mountains comes from us camping in Madison, VA as well as growing up in the mountains of West Virginia!
