Stay At Home Mom/Hopeful Business Woman Who Ends Up On Oprah

I started my Etsy shop not long after I found out we were expecting our first kid and my husband was getting out of the Military to go back to college. Talk about good timing. Not only was I about to change my first diaper, but I was leaving my teaching job, my husband was leaving his job, and we were about to take a THREE day drive with a three week old baby across country to start a new life in Montana. So, of course my first reaction was to "PANIC" . . . then eat some chocolate, and then make hats!

I had this great idea to start selling crocheted hats, because that was just one step away from getting myself recognized and on to the Oprah show . . . I think Oprah still had her show when I came up with this idea.

It's been several years now and I have branched off from crocheted hats to learning printables for my kiddos. They have so many hats I needed to put away my crochet hook and focus more on home school.

Anyway, still no Oprah show, but now I have a niece, nephew, son, and daughter to make things for. Who could ask for more? . . . Ellen show maybe?
