I enjoy making things, and I enjoy learning new ways to make things, and I enjoy the process of making the things I make into products that can be made repeatably to a high quality.

My product ideas often meet needs that I have and as I'm a bit odd they are often of no interest to anyone else - but sometimes they are and then customers want variations and things wander in odd directions.

I hope this explains why my product range is so eclectic. The common thread is that these are my designs and made by me and I stand by what I make. When I design things for the store I make sure that I can reliably and efficiently make them to a high quality. Otherwise it wouldn't be any fun.

And the name? I found an Ariel Red Hunter motorcycle in a barn on the west coast of Scotland in 1986, which I still have. As an early adopter of the Internet, I snagged the domain name early and cheap. Yes, I'm a boomer (just).
