I am Michelle Burke and I love to create and sew! I started sewing as a young girl and have sewn quilts, decorator items, clothing and most recently, bags. I have also found that I love designing patterns for bags, wallets, purses, and more. Whether you would like to purchase a unique bag for yourself or as a gift, or if you would like to sew a bag yourself, you will find that my products are high quality and designed with love and care.
Why the name "Uniquely Michelle" you ask. Well, when I started this business, I was determined to make sure each customer would get a unique bag, one that they will not see even one other person wearing. I am still committed to this philosophy. Why carry the same bag as everyone else when you can show off your unique personality with a one-of-a-kind bag made just for you?
Uniquely Michelle patterns are written clearly and accompanied by great quality pictures to help you create beautiful and functional items with great style! By designing and selling patterns for bags, I get to see my designs made in countless unique ways by my customers - how fun! I love seeing and sharing photos of my customer's creations! Other than sewing, I love spending time with my husband, our two daughters, and our goldendoodle, Chestnut. I love the Colorado outdoors and enjoy skiing, hiking, fishing, or just sitting around a campfire as the sun sets and the stars come out.
