Nacida y criada en Suecia, Clara Johansson fundó Bon Patterns para perseguir su pasión por crear cosas hermosas con sus propias manos y compartir esta alegría con los demás. Empezó a coser su propia ropa a los 7 años, lo que le permitió familiarizarse con la aguja y el hilo. Este interés temprano floreció en la escuela y estudió diseño de moda en Sídney mientras vivía allí. Tras regresar a casa, continuó sus estudios en tecnología de la moda, lo que la llevó a trabajar en la industria durante varios años. Aunque esto era interesante, Clara sintió que su pasión por crear con sus propias manos había desaparecido, así que lanzó una marca de peluches llamada Studio Bundis. La creación de estos adorables juguetes la llevó a Bon Patterns, donde ahora puede compartir su pasión por la costura y el diseño con personas de todo el mundo y fomentar su propio amor por esta artesanía.
Born and bred in Sweden, Clara Johansson started Bon Patterns to pursue her passion of making beautiful things with her own hands, and passing this joy onto others. She started sewing her own clothes at aged 7 so became very familiar with a needle and thread. This early interest blossomed at school and she went on to study fashion design in Sydney whilst living out there. After moving back home, she went on to further her studies in fashion technology which lead to her working in the fashion industry for number of years. Whilst this was interesting, Clara felt that her passion of creating with her own hands has disappeared and so she launched a soft toy brand called Studio Bundis. Making these adorable toys lead her to Bon Patterns, where she can now share her passion for sewing and designing with others from around the world, and encourage their own love for this craft.
