I purchased this mid January and it was supposed to be a gift. No update, no shipping and no replies to messages after I inquired twice (3 times if you count contacting Etsy) Super disappointed because the item is exactly what I’d been looking for …then I see it listed as still available on the site too??

This necklace is total life. It is heavy but so worth it, I wish the twine was a little longer but that does not take away. Its breathtaking and definitely a conversation piece. I absolutely love it.

I did reach out to the seller wondering about my status but they got back to me very quickly and my order was shipped and received promptly as they had stated. Also got a kewlio marble/rock?(thought it was a jellybean and it made my day). The earrings were dope. they were for my husband and he loves them.

Born from a desire for unique, weird, dark, affordable jewelry...

The headline basically sums it up! I've never been very girly, or much of a fan of traditional gold-and-diamonds jewelry: too feminine, too typical, too expensive. The weird, the earthy, the unique...that's always been closer to my heart. Darkroot Designs began when I started making jewelry that I liked looking at and wearing, and on my budget (which was very minimal). It has been a huge learning process, as I've had to discover everything through trial and error. Over the years, I've honed my jewelry making skills and have been creating strange, unique, and (if I do say so myself) beautiful pieces that suit those with alternative tastes. I love what I do, and I'm always learning. As much as possible, I try to recycle and use eco-friendly and/or natural elements in my jewelry; this makes everything more personal to me. I just hope that other people enjoy my work as much as I do!
