very good; so glad to finally have a physical edition

This is a trophy book. The rebinding would not survive if you used this like a normal hardcover -- it is too loose on the sides of the spine and will either crease or rip. The corners of the end pages are also lifting. Item was lost in the mail from the May 26 - June 2, and when I reached out for assistance it took several hours to get a less than helpful response... Thankfully got the book in the end. Item is pretty but will be looking elsewhere in the future.

I was super excited for this book! Kind of disappointed that there’s this pink stuff on both books that I can’t get off. But otherwise in good condition.

Where do we start… The book binding was poorly done. The book is begging to stay attached. The corners that don’t have the metal plates are worn and have holes. The books themselves look dirty and have dried glue (I hope) smeared on one of them. The ribbon on the second book is randomly cut off? What? Why? I didn’t bother with customer service and I’m not bothering with the seller. There is clearly no quality control check that the seller performs. I’m cutting my losses at this point.

Shipping issues that weren’t the sellers fault aside, this book has quality problems. The headband at the spine is poorly cut and frayed. The metal corners aren’t seated properly and they will scratch my shelves and the corners are sharp. I cut myself taking one of the two books I purchased out of the box. Now I need to buy a file to sand them down. Overall a disappointing purchase.

Sadly, this is a case of “what I ordered” vs “what I got”. I won’t even go into the shipping. That was a nightmare but not the sellers fault. But the book itself is not the cover I ordered. The cover they show is not the one I was sent. It’s not even an option on any of their listing. And the metal corners aren’t seated well on either book I purchased. In addition the corners are sharp and now I need to buy a file to sand them down because I have already cut myself on one of them taking the book out of the packaging. Pictures are included. Overall, very disappointed.

Ahh I love it so much! The cover is stunning in person, and the colors are even prettier than I expected. The artwork, hardcover feel, and corner details make it feel like such a special collectible. I’m really happy with my order and so excited to add this to my fanfic shelf!
