I originally began by refurbishing my own Nintendo 64 collection, but I got a little carried away. Instead of settling for off-the-shelf reproduction labels, I decided to make my own. At first, I thought it would be easy—some standard sticker paper, scissors, and tape—but I quickly realized I wanted something better.
Determined to do it right, I taught myself Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, sourced professional-quality materials not available on the commercial market, and refined my process until I was truly impressed with the results. 4 out of 5 starsThe item is good quality but the text is not as sharp as the original, and the grey colour is a bit lighter, too. If you have a really ratty looking label this is a good alternative, however if you are looking for a super authentic looking one, this might not be it.

Most of the original labels have been exposed to light and elements for over 30 years so they make tough comparisons. When I started doing this, I compared my original collection of games and all of the back labels were in various stages of fade. I figured too new would look too dark and fake. The text may not look as sharp but that's because of the UV/waterproof lamination, it's a trade-off to ensure longevity and it's not that noticeable in my opinion. A lot of other replacement labels are not laminated so they smear very easily and fade very quickly. The most of the competitor labels that are laminated do not have a UV coating so they end up completely faded within 1 to 3 years. The ones I make will not fade even in direct sun exposure and they're washable. I appreciate your feedback :)
