Gothic Writing Studio was founded by Annelise Stephenson, a published author and writing mentor with decades of professional experience in writing, editing, and publishing.

Throughout her career, Annelise has worked across fiction, nonfiction, and literary analysis, with a particular focus on Gothic traditions and regional expressions of the genre. Her work examines Gothic as structure rooted in moral tension, inherited decay, and landscape as pressure — not as aesthetic.
