It All Started With A Drum
Hallo! Ich bin Schlagzeuglehrer und Rhythmuspraktiker und erforsche die Schnittstelle zwischen Rhythmus und Natur. Ich habe vor über 20 Jahren angefangen, Schlagzeug zu spielen und habe ein Interesse an Weltpercussion entwickelt, mit einem Interesse daran, wie verschiedene Kulturen mit den Rhythmen und der Sprache der Trommel in Verbindung stehen.
Ich war Mitglied mehrerer Percussion-Gruppen und Performance-Ensembles in Georgia, Texas und Minnesota. Zurzeit bin ich Leiterin von DrumHeart, einer Performance-Schlagzeuggruppe, die ausschließlich aus Frauen besteht. Mein Schlagzeugstudio und Geschäft befindet sich in Saint Paul, MN, und hier spiele ich Musik und stelle mit Hilfe meines Mannes Steve Ray eine Vielzahl von Trommeln, Percussion-Zubehör und Kunst her!

Hello! I'm a drum instructor and rhythm practitioner who has been exploring the intersection of rhythm and nature. I started playing the drums over 20 years ago and have developed an interest in world percussion, with an interest in how different cultures connect with the rhythms and language of the drum.
I've been a member of several percussion groups and performance ensembles in Georgia, Texas, and Minnesota. I'm currently the Director of the DrumHeart, an all-women performance drum group. My drum studio and shop is located in Saint Paul, MN and is where I play music and make a variety of drums, percussion accessories and art with the help of my husband, Steve Ray!
