I have been crafting since I was in high school and let's just say that was before the computer age! I love making unique gifts for my family and friends and decided it was time to go crazy with it and open up shop. My husband, Joe, and I live with a rescue dog named Tanner who graciously let's us live under his roof - funny how that happens - we rescue him and he decides he owns the house!
My husband was in the Marines for 21 years and was engaged in contract technical writing at Boeing. A big SALUTE to our military - thank you for your service! He has now retired and is helping me with my business which I really appreciate!
I grew up in a small town in Illinois, went to Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and majored in Speech Communication. Florida beckoned me with a career and I moved there and lived there for 16 years before returning to the Midwest. There's a point in your life where you realize your family will not be there forever and I wanted to spend more time with them while I had the chance. Now here I am in St. Louis, making coasters and enjoying the 4 seasons (do really miss the beaches in Florida though!)
