Ich bin Vater von fünf tollen Kindern und könnte mir kaum etwas Schöneres wünschen. Vor zwei Jahren erfuhr ich, dass ich Krebs im vierten Stadium habe, und das Leben brach mit voller Wucht über mich herein. Alles verschwamm zu einem einzigen Chaos – von Arztterminen über Therapiesitzungen bis hin zu den ständigen Erklärungen an Freunde und Familie. (Eine große Familie ist toll, bis man erklären muss, dass man Krebs hat.) Ich kann mich nicht über viel beschweren, aber ans Aufhören denke ich noch lange nicht. Mein gewohnter Job und meine Hobbys waren so gut wie vorbei. Ich habe viel Zeit damit verbracht, mich zu erholen und alles Mögliche getan, um mich zu beschäftigen … und jetzt bin ich hier, haha. Ich bin also noch neu hier, das werden Sie sicher bald merken, falls Sie es nicht schon getan haben. Im Alltag bin ich ein fairer und vertrauenswürdiger Mensch, und ich dachte, das könnte ich auch hier einbringen und gut funktionieren. Die Zeit wird es zeigen. Wenn Sie Fragen haben, Rat brauchen, Hilfe benötigen oder sonst etwas brauchen, fragen Sie einfach.

A father of 5 great kids who couldn’t ask for much else. 2 years ago I found out I had stage 4 cancer and life really hit full force. Everything was a blurred mess from doctor appointments to therapy appointments to explaining stuff to friends and family repeatedly. ( A large family is great until it’s time to explain I had cancer.) I can’t complain about much but sure not ready to call it a day. My typical work and extracurricular activities had come to an end pretty much. Now I spent a lot of time trying to recover on my butt doing anything I can to stay busy….. and now I’m here lol. So I’m new at this I’m sure you can or will tell before long if you haven’t already. I’m a fair and trustworthy guy in my day to day dealings I figured I could apply that here and be great.
