FliteWallet entstand 2014, wie so viele gute Ideen aus der Luftfahrtbranche: nach dem Flug, beim Bier und angeregten Gesprächen. Drei Piloten und Freunde – ein hauptberuflicher Luftfahrtprofi mit den meisten Qualifikationen (CFII, MEI, A&P IA), ein herausragender Luftfahrtingenieur mit CFII-Zertifizierung und ein Draufgänger mit einer genialen Idee – hatten sich zum Ziel gesetzt, etwas Einfaches und Sinnvolles zu schaffen: eine Geldbörse, die den Geist des Fliegens einfängt und gleichzeitig alltagstauglich ist.
Inspiriert von der Komplexität von VFR-Sektionskarten und gefertigt aus robustem Tyvek, fand FliteWallet seinen Weg in die Gesäßtaschen der gesamten Luftfahrtgemeinschaft und beherbergte nicht nur Karten und Bargeld, sondern auch eine Erinnerung an Freiheit, Abenteuer und das Privileg des Fliegens.
Nach mehreren erfolgreichen Jahren erlebte die Marke eine Renaissance in den Händen eines Reisebegeisterten und Weltentdeckers – kein Pilot von Beruf, sondern durch Freundschaften und die gemeinsame Liebe zu Bewegung, Entdeckung und praktischem Design zur Luftfahrt hingezogen.
Auch heute noch verfolgt FliteWallet weiterhin die gleiche Kernidee – die Einfachheit der Luftfahrt in den Alltag zu bringen – und erweitert seine Geschichte über das Cockpit hinaus auf alle, die sich für Reisen, Entdeckungen und das Gefühl, irgendwohin zu reisen, begeistern.
Die Reise geht weiter, nur mit einem etwas anderen Flugplan.

Three pilots and friends – a full-time aviation professional with the most letters: CFII, MEI, A&P IA, a remarkable aeronautical engineer with a CFII, and a goon with a good idea. They set out to create something simple and meaningful: a wallet that captures the spirit of flying while staying practical for everyday carry.
Inspired by the intricacy of VFR sectional charts and built with the durability of Tyvek, FliteWallet found its way into back pockets across the aviation community, carrying not just cards and cash, but also a reminder of freedom, adventure, and the privilege of flying.
After several successful years, the brand found new life in the hands of a travel enthusiast and world explorer – not a pilot by trade, but drawn to aviation through friendships and a shared love of movement, discovery, and practical design.
Today, FliteWallet continues its journey with the same core idea – bringing aviation-inspired simplicity to everyday life – while expanding its story beyond the cockpit to anyone drawn to travel, exploration, and the feeling of going somewhere.
