♨️ Application & Care Instructions – Environmentally friendly polyester with hotmelt coating

1. Iron on:
We recommend ironing the garment flat before applying it.
Place the patch face up on the desired area and cover it with a thin cloth (e.g. cotton cloth) to avoid direct heat contact with the embroidery surface.
Iron at medium heat (approx. 150–160°C) for 10–15 seconds. Please ensure the temperature is not too high to avoid damaging the fibers.

2. Fixation:
The backing is made of hot-melt adhesive, which is suitable for quick ironing. However, for long-term durability, we recommend sewing the patch on.
The adhesive is usually sufficient for short-term wear – however, if washed frequently the patch can come off.

3. Washing:
It is best to turn inside out and wash on a gentle cycle in cold water (max. 30°C).
Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
Do not dry clean or tumble dry – please allow to air dry.

4. Storage:
Do not store in humid environments, as moisture may impair the adhesive strength of the patch.
Before applying, check that the material is suitable for heat and adhesive.

Please note: Etsy’s default shipping estimate for DHL Standard Mail to the USA says 7–14 days, but in our experience, it can sometimes take 30–60 days to arrive from Germany. Regular mail is untracked, so delivery times can vary, and there’s a small chance the package may get lost.
If you don’t mind waiting, you can choose the cheaper shipping option. But if you want a safer option, or your order is over $10, we recommend registered mail. You can track your package, but it might still take some time to arrive.
