Die Idee für den Laden entstand durch ein einzelnes Steinarmband, das ich auf einem überfüllten Markt fand; schwer, kühl im Griff und völlig anders als der massenproduzierte Schmuck, den man sonst überall sah. Es wirkte durchdacht. Solide. Als wäre es zum Aufbewahren und nicht zum Ersetzen gemacht.
Dieser Moment entfachte die Suche nach Steinen mit echtem Charakter: Stücke mit starken Kontrasten, klaren Farben und natürlichen Mustern, die sich nicht fälschen ließen. Anstatt das Material hinter Verzierungen zu verbergen, rückte der Stein selbst in den Mittelpunkt: präzise geschliffen, glatt poliert und zu Armreifen geformt, die sich am Handgelenk massiv anfühlen.
