Hallo! Mein Name ist Ema. Ich bin Grafikdesignerin und lebe im sonnigen Bangkok, Thailand.
Das zweite Pen-Projekt begann an dem Tag, als ich zu Hause war und mich mit lästigen Versandproblemen und einem Kunstblock für meinen ersten Online-Shop herumquälte. Ich sah zu der großen leeren Wand auf, die dringend etwas Aufmerksamkeit brauchte, und dachte, ähm, ich brauche etwas wirklich wirklich Schönes, um den Platz auszufüllen. Etwas, das mich jeden Morgen zum Lächeln bringt. Etwas, das mich inspiriert. Etwas, das minimalistisch ist, aber einen leeren Raum zum Leuchten bringt.
Ich mochte schon immer Einfachheit, jede Menge Weißraum und Typografie! Allerdings habe ich selten die Gelegenheit, an typografischen Designprojekten zu arbeiten, abgesehen von den Logotypen. Ein Onlineshop, der sich hauptsächlich auf die Kunst des Handletterings und der Typografie für das Zuhause konzentriert, ist eine großartige Möglichkeit, meine Kreativität anzuregen.
Alle meine Handschriftzüge werden ursprünglich auf Papier gezeichnet und später am Computer überarbeitet und zu Vektoren digitalisiert, um eine optimale Dateiqualität zu erzielen.
Second Pen enthält eine Sammlung kurzer Sätze und Zitate, die Sie inspirieren werden. Mit digitalen Downloads können meine Kunden auf der ganzen Welt meine Kreationen genießen, ohne auf Versandsysteme angewiesen zu sein und internationale Versandkosten zu vermeiden.

Hi! My name is Ema. I’m a graphic designer based in sunny Bangkok, Thailand.
Second Pen project started on that day when I was at home having a tedious shipping headache and an art block for my first online shop. I looked up at the large empty wall that was in desperate need of some attention and thought umm I needed something really really nice to fill up the space. Something that makes me smile every morning. Something that inspires me. Something that is minimal but makes a blank space pop.
I’ve always love simplicity, lots and lots of white space and typography! However I rarely have opportunity to work on typographic design projects, except the logotypes. Having an online shop that mainly focuses on the art of hand-lettering and typography for a home is a great way to fuel my creativity.
All my hand-lettering are originally drawn on papers and later polished and digitized to vector on computer for an optimal quality of the files.
Second Pen will feature a collection of short phrases and quotes that will bring inspiration to your day. With digital downloads, my customers from all over the world can enjoy my creations without relying on shipping system and avoiding international shipping costs.
