We are two best friends Hind and Houda, united by a burning desire to break free from the suffocating grip of the corporate fashion world, and bring a powerful statement about sustainability in the industry.
My name is Hind, I have a master's degree in Finance, had spent a decade trapped in a soul-draining corporate job.I knew, deep down, that my true calling lay elsewhere. So, I took a courageous leap of faith and enrolled at College LaSalle as a fashion designer and pattern maker. The moment I stepped into the world of fashion,I felt a profound sense of belonging. I was honored with the Hempel Excellent Award during the 2019 China Fashion Week. With over 7 years of experience working for international brands, Today I am finally ready to share my creativity with the world. I want my designs to be sewn at home by everyone and be a source of joy, fun and a unique story.
My name is Houda, an engineer with an EMBA from Columbia Business School. For ten long years, I had navigated the corporate labyrinth, longing for an outlet for my creativity. The pandemic provided me with an unexpected opportunity. I dove headfirst into learning the art of pattern making and transformed myself into a fashion designer. In 2020, I took my first bold step, launching a business that focused on selling PDF sewing patterns. Just as I embarked on this exciting new journey, life threw me another curveball—I became a new mother. Juggling the demands of my new exciting business with the challenges of motherhood, I soon found myself burnt out from doing so many things at once handling customer service, pattern making, video making, shooting, diapers and taking care of my little angle. I knew i had to find support for growing my exciting business It was at this critical juncture that my best friend, Hind, came to my rescue, offering to join me on this daring adventure.
